This book documents the successful effort to save the historically significant Gettysburg Seminary's "Old Dorm" and transform it into the Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center. The author draws from archival records to illuminate the history of the building from its dedication in 1832 to its opening as a museum and education center on July 1, 2013. While the author does share the Civil War significance of the building, the focus of the book is on the intricacies faced from 1950 to 2022 to bring the educational vision for the museum into reality.
